As you will understand, we need detailed information from you.
Applicants should contact LSEC and ask for advice at that point:
we shall be able to say how likely it is that we shall have
places on the programme that interests you. |

Applications from overseas for degree programmes |
|
|
Applicants from outside the UK should apply through the South
Asia office. If you are sending material by post, this is likely
to take a long time. However, we are happy to accept your
application through either route.
For further information about LSEC and studying in the UK,
applicants should contact our South Asia office or visit our
website.

Some programmes interview most applicants. Overseas applicants
could be asked to attend an interview, and if so, we do our best
to ensure the interviews are well co-ordinated. Where selection
is not by interview, we treat overseas applicants exactly like
UK applicants except that they are allowed more time because of
the distances involved. |

Contact the Admissions department for application form. The
application form enables you to provide all the information we
need from you. If you would like an informal discussion before
application, please contact the department offering the subject
in which you are interested.
The most important part of the application form is the section
which asks you to make a statement setting out the reasons why
you wish to do the programme, explaining the relevance of your
qualifications and experience, and outlining your professional
development plans. We will make our decision on the basis of
what it is you plan to do, and this is your opportunity to set
out succinctly the nature of your career plans. If you have
already talked to us during a visit you will have a clearer idea
of the main points to make. The form also includes a section for
a confidential report from a referee, or academic or
professional sponsor, who should be able to confirm your ability
to meet our entry criteria. |
|
|
All applicants who meet the entry requirements are normally
interviewed. If we have had a discussion with you before
receiving your application form, it may be possible to make an
offer of a place on the contents of your form alone without
further interview. All candidates are welcome to visit us and
meet informally with academic staff. |
