Advanced Diploma in
Travel, Tourism and Hospitality
>> School of English
>> School of Health & Social Care

This three-part course is designed for the individual who is looking for a career in travel, tourism and hospitality management. On successful completion of the course, you are awarded the ABE Advanced Diploma in Travel, Tourism and Hospitality.

It is widely accepted that the travel, tourism and hospitality industry today is the largest and most dynamic sector within the global economy.  It is an industry that comprises many components (for example, historical attractions, theme parks, travel agents, airlines, museums, hotels and restaurants) in both the public and private sectors of every country. The central feature of travel, tourism and hospitality throughout the world is the need to provide quality services to increasingly discerning customers.  This need requires effective management in all the main functional business areas (finance, marketing, human resource management, and operations) as well as the strategic leadership associated with general management.

ABE’s qualifications in Travel, Tourism and Hospitality provide a pathway through which students aspiring to management roles in the sector can develop a combination of key business skills and industry knowledge in preparation for the varied and demanding careers which the industry offers.  ABE graduates can use the combination of business and vocational subjects which they have pursued as a route to rewarding employment or as a stepping stone to further study in colleges and universities world-wide.
